Give the gift of hope to a child this Giving Tuesday

Dear Asha Patron,

Today is no ordinary Tuesday. Its #GivingTuesday - a worldwide movement that celebrates your power to make a difference. In 2015 your donations helped Asha for Education, Boston keep over 12,000 children in school. Your support means a lot to us. It means a lot more to the children whose life you've helped change. Forever.

On this Giving Tuesday we ask that you help us once again. Our goal is simple - keep these children in schools for another year. Donate for our Work-an-Hour campaign. Help us keep these children in schools - where they belong.

One hour is all it takes.

This Diwali, light the 'diya' of hope in a child's life

Dear Asha Patron,

On a day filled with joy and happiness for most of us, let us take a moment to remember the not so fortunate, those who struggle to get access to even the most basic education.

If finding qualified science teachers is hard in rural Karnataka, finding a school with a functional science laboratory is even harder. The Asha Boston supported Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement - Mobile Science Van project is a traveling laboratory which supports government schools with the necessary staff, raw materials and equipment to demonstrate and facilitate experiential learning of Science.

Celebrate Diwali with us by contributing a single hour's worth of your earnings towards Asha's Work-an-Hour campaign. Help us expand the reach of our Mobile Science Van initiative to even more schools.

It had been a great campaign thus far, we have come across with variety of generous donors & volunteers  who are able to contribute to this much needed cause.  Work an Hour 2014 will close on October 30th, and our projects and children thank you for generous support. Together we are making a difference today, everyday. Your support gives us and our projects strength!
Just to recap, Work An Hour is a summer-long, global, online fundraising campaign based on a simple concept: If each one of us works ONE hour towards the education of our children who need us most, the result will be nothing short of miraculous! We just ask that consider contributing an hour's worth or more of your salary towards the education of India's future!

We sincerely thank you!

This Independence day, give a gift of education!

This Independence Day, give a gift of education to a child.
Freedom is a celebration, Independence is a Challenge! Asha for Education is proud to have been confronting this challenge of making a difference in the lives of thousands of children all across India by giving them their best shot at rising above poverty and lack of opportunities -
By proving them access to quality education!

There's no better celebration of Independence than joining hands in helping your children achieve their potential and lift them out of poverty.

Let's root out illiteracy from India!
After 67 years of independence, millions are still without any access to education. And the situation is particularly worst for girl child. This independence day lets pledge to stamp out illiteracy from India. We invite you to lean more about our projects, and lend a helping hand by donating an hour or more worth of your salary! Together we can change lives of millions of children!
