Dear Asha Patrons,

Work an Hour; Change a Life! The support that Asha provides for the education of underprivileged children means so much more than just putting students in school. It is about giving them hope for a better future. In fact, in most instances, it is their only hope for a better future. Donate an hour before September 30th and help us give these kids an opportunity for a better life. Please show us your support today.

During the past 10 weeks, we have showcased 13 projects in India that are doing enormous service to empower underprivileged children in India. Thanks to many generous donors, we have raised more than $93,000 so far. But we are still short of our target of $150,000 and we need your help. It takes as little as $35 (Rs.1750) on average to support the education of one child for an year in our 2012 Work an hour projects. As we are in the last three days of our campaign, we are aiming for 1000 donors target.

The problem of illiteracy of more than 100 million children (UNESCO report) can not be solved by a few of us. Please open your generous hearts to our children and donate an hour to rid India of illiteracy.
